Pine Lodge Terminal Station

PROJECT: Pine Lodge Terminal Station

CLIENT: AusNet Services

LOCATION: Victoria

YEAR(S): 2024-2025

SCOPE: To design, manufacture and deliver 220kV Current Transformers, Capacitive Voltage Transformers with integrated Power Quality Monitors, Support Steel Structures and Marshalling boxes

BACKGROUND: Pine Lodge Terminal Station is a critical component of AusNet Services’ transmission network upgrade program in northern Victoria, located near Shepparton. The station supports regional load growth and enables the integration of new renewable energy developments, including the Pine Lodge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), into the National Electricity Market.

As part of this program, AusNet Services engaged GFF Power/Arteche to design, manufacture and supply 220 kV Capacitive Voltage Transformers (CVTs) and Current Transformers (CTs). The equipment was engineered to meet AusNet Services’ stringent technical and operational specifications, with a strong focus on long‑term performance, accuracy and reliability. The project required close coordination across engineering, manufacturing and logistics to align with the site construction schedule and planned energisation milestones.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

  • Design, manufacture and supply of Arteche capacitive voltage transformers with integrated power quality monitors and current transformers.
  • Ongoing project management, including provision of regular updates relating to anticipated delivery timeline.
  • Complete logistical assistance covering international freight, port clearance and delivery to site, including unloading.
  • Technical support as required by AusNet Services throughout the project.

OUTCOMES:
All equipment was manufactured to AusNet Services specifications, produced in-line with the agreed schedule, and safely delivered to site per the project required timelines.
